Meeting of the Board of Directors July 28, 2025— 4:00pm

The following members of the Farmers Branch Local Government Corporation (FBLGC) were present:
Mayor Terry Lynne
Councilwoman Tina Bennett -Burton
Pamela DeHon
Jessica Alvarado
Benjamin Williamson
City staff present:
Jawaria Tareen, Deputy City Manager
Christian Grisales, Public Information Officer
Erin Flores, Deputy Director of Administrative Services, City Secretary
A. CALL TO ORDER
Pam Dehon called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm
B. CITIZEN COMMENTS
This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board or Committee on any matter
that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Board or Committee should complete a
Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Board Liaison or Board Chair prior to the start
of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable
limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic
item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial.
The Board or Committee is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen
Comments. However, the Chair may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to
the City Administration for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief
statement of factual information in response to the inquiry.
There were no members of the public wishing to address the Local Government Corporation.

Consider approving the following Farmers Branch Local Government Corporation meeting minutes;
and take appropriate action
- January 7, 2025 - FBLGC Meeting
A motion was made by Member Tina Bennett -Burton and seconded by Member Jessica Alvarado to
approve. With all members voting "aye", the motion passed unanimously.
C.2 25-576
Consider the appointment of President, Vice President, and Secretary for the Farmers Branch Local
Government Corporation.
A motion was made by Mayor Lynne, seconded by Councilwoman Tina Bennett -Burton to approve
appointing Member Terry Lynne as President. With all members voting "aye", the motion passed
unanimously.
A motion was made by President Lynne, seconded by Member Pam Dehon, to approve Member Tina
Bennett -Burton as Vice President. With all members voting "aye", the motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Vice President Tina Bennett -Burton, second by Member Pam Dehon, to approve
Member Jessica Alvarado as Secretary. With all members voting "aye", the motion passed unanimously.

Discuss and consider authorizing the negotiation and execution of an amended Purchase Sale
Agreement, Owner Sales Contract, and Restriction Agreement, Owner Sales Contract, and Restriction
Agreement to purchase from the City of Farmers Branch and to sell real property located at 1349-1399
Valley View Lane.
A motion was made by Vice President Tina Bennett-burton and seconded by Member Pam Dehon to
approve. With all members voting "aye", the motion passed unanimously.

Discuss and consider authorizing the negotiation and execution of a Purchase Sale Agreement, Owner
Sales Contract, restriction Agreement to purchase from the City of Farmers Branch and to sell real
property located at 13309 Jose lane.
A motion was made by President Terry Lynne and seconded by Member Pam Dehon to approve. The
motion passed with the following vote:
Aye: Member Jessica Alvarado, President Terry Lynne, Member Pam Dehon, Member Benjamin
Williamson
Nay: Vice President Tina Bennett-burton
D. Adjournment
A motion was made by Member Pamela DeHon and seconded by President Terry Lynne to adjourn the
meeting of the Farmers Branch Local Government Corporation at 4:21 pm. With all members voting
"aye", the motion carried unanimously.
