A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held at
City Hal' on October 27, 1853, at 7:30 p.m., with the
following Aldermen present, constituting a ,uorum:

Mayor Lewis presided, and E. N. Kerr acted as Secretary.
STREET BUILDING:
Mayor Lewis outlined the fact that -ertain monies were
due the County for na7ment of pavement of Rawhide from Tom
Field Road to Epps Field in the amount of $166.95 and for
the pavement of portion of Epps Field from Rawhide to Acacia
in the amount of 050.n9. These amounts have been received
from the develope» and Mayor Lewis was instructed to pay these
sums to the Co unty. Certain monies have been received frcm
the developer of Farmers Dell 'addition for pavement of
streets in that area. nefore this money= is Raid to the
County, Mayor Lewis will check with Mr. R. H. Clinger regarding the
fact that some of the streets in Farmers dell Iddition were im-
properly graded and paved.
WATER nEP0STT:
On motion made by Thomas Reeder, seconded by B. A. Marcom,
unanimous approval was given a prop-sal to amend the ordinance
regarding water deposits to inc-ease such deposit to $10.

HTGH:JAY 77 MEETING:
It was unanimously agreed that the Board of Aldermen
would accept the invitation of the Carrollton city council
to attend a joint meeting of Carrollton, Farmers Branch,
Dallas City Council, Dallas Commissioners Court, and others
interested in the State Highway Department's proposal con-
tained in Minute No. 34579.
ANN!?XATION :
Mr. Art Clouston reported progress on this matter. The
necessary petitions for annexing the northeast area are now
ready for signature.
CORPORATION COURT:
Mr. Art Clouston gave an interesting report regarding
the progress being made by the town marshall and his assistants.

Current Bills in the amount of V05-?3 were ordered paid.
