1955-03-29 CC MinutesMINUTES OF A SPECIAL FETING OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN FARMERS BRANCH, TEXAS MARCH 29, 1955 A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held at the City Hall on March 29, 1955 at 7:30 P. M. with the following present: Mayor Lawson Lewis Aldermen J. W. Culpepper R. J. Knight B. A. Ma.rcom Thomas Reeder Attorney J. G. Blanchette Acting Sec. Lyman Goodnight BIDS ON SEWER LIFT STATION.AND APPURTENANCES The bids for the sanitary lift station to be located on Cook's branch was opened by the Mayor and read by Doc Remsburg, engineer for Joe Rady Co. Eight sets of bids were submitted. E. E. Farrow Company's bid was low in the amount of $20,838.00. J. W. Culpepper made the motion that the city accept Mr. Farrow's bid, R. J. Knight seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved. ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF JOSEY LANE A motion to abandon a portion of Josey Lane was made by Thomas Reeder, seconded by J. W.
