A.1 MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
Mayor Blair called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Mayor Blair stated that Councilman Moses was not in
attendance at this time but is expected.
A.3 CONSIDER RESOLUTION NO. 94-082 SUPPORTING
SH-190, FROM SH78 TO IH635, AS A TOLL ROAD AND
TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTION.
Mayor Blair stated the meeting was called to consider
the important issue of supporting SH190, from SH78 to
IH635 as a toll road. Mayor Blair pointed out as in
Section 2 of the Resolution that any future highway
facility proposed for construction in the SH161-190
corridor must provide for access to and from Valwood
Parkway. Mayor Blair stated that the City of
Carrollton was concerned of SH190 only going from North
Dallas Toll Road to IH635 as a toll road. Mayor Blair
stated the Texas Turnpike Authority Board of Directors
meet this Thursday, (June 16, 1994) and he feels no
problem in supporting SH190 from SH78 as a toll road.

There being no further discussion, a motion by
Councilwoman Davis, a second by Mayor Pro Tem Pyle,
all voting "aye", adopted Resolution No. 94-082
supporting SH190, from SH78 to IH635, as a toll road.
A.2 CONSIDER RESOLUTION NO. 94-081 APPOINTMENT TO
THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL OF THE
NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS AND
TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTION.
Councilman Moses arrived at the meeting.
Mayor Blair stated this item was placed on the agenda
with the thinking of possible meetings of the Regional
Transportation Council before July which now may not
happen. Mayor Blair stated that Mayor Gravley has
served as representative of our area, and since he will
no longer serve is going to recommend that the Farmers
Branch Mayor be the representative. Mayor Blair stated
he will be glad to serve as the representative to the
Regional Transportation Council.
There being no further discussion, a motion by
Councilwoman Davis, a second by Councilwoman Hardie,
all voting "aye", adopted Resolution No. 94-081
appointing Mayor Dave Blair to serve as a
representative for the City of Farmers Branch on the
Regional Transportation Council.
