Mayor Phelps called the City Council Special Meeting of July 30, 2007 at 4:30
p.m.
A. CONSIDER ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-105 APPROVING
CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 1 TO A CONTRACT WITH ARK
CONTRACTING SERVICES, LLC FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SANITARY SEWER PROTECTION ALONG FARMERS BRANCH CREEK
NEAR LOST VALLEY LANE AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION.
City Engineer Jerry Murawski gave the Council a synopsis of the additional
sanitary sewer protection authorized by Change Order No. 1.
A motion by Councilman Robinson, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem O'Hare, all
voting "aye," approved Change Order No. 1 to a contract with Ark Contracting
Services, LLC for the construction of sanitary sewer protection along Farmers
Branch Creek near Lost Valley Lane.

Mayor Phelps announced that the City Council would convene into Executive Session.
The meeting convened into Executive Session at 4:37 p.m. and concluded at 6:50 p.m.
The meeting convened into General Session after the items had been discussed in the
Executive Session to consider any necessary action. Texas Government Code Chapter
551 of the Open Meeting Law provides that such items as personnel matters, land
acquisition, and pending and contemplated litigation may be discussed in closed session.

Mayor Phelps stated the City Attorney was present to discuss these items with the
City Council.
The council reconvenes into general session.
F.1 CONSIDER NECESSARY ACTION ON ITEMS DISCUSSED IN THE
EXECUTIVE SESSION.
Mayor Phelps explained no action was needed for the executive session items.
F.2 ADJOURNMENT.
A motion by Councilman Scott, seconded by Councilman Smith, all voting "aye,"
adjourned the special City Council meeting of July 30, 2007 at 6:50 p.m.
