MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL

All members of the City Council were present:

Mayor Roberts called the meeting to order.
A.DMINISTRATION AUTHORIZED TO SET PUBLIC HEARINGS DATE
After some discussion, a motion by Councilman Schedler, a second by
Councilman Korioth, all voting "ayes", authorized the City Administra-
tion to set the dates for public hearings for the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council upon proper application.
AGREEMENT WITH L. S. THOMPSON
Upon a motion by Councilman Korioth, a second by Councilman Schedler,
all voting "ayes", passed a resolution whereas, the City of Farmers Branch
agrees to permit L. S. Thompson to connect to the Trinity River Authority
sewer collection main subject to approval of the City Engineer and the
Engineer for T. R. A. at the time of connection; whereas, this agreement
does not waive the normal fees charged for such connections.
FIRE AND POLICE STATIONS PROPERTY - GOODLAND AND VALLEY VIEW
After some discussion, a motion by Councilman Korioth, a second by
Councilman Grimmer, all voting "ayes", authorized the City Attorney to
start condemnation proceedings on the reversionary interest of property
located on the corner of Valley View Lane and Goodland Street - old Fire
Station and City Hall site.

CONDEMNATION OF PARK PROPERTY A.PPEALED - J. W. FIELD, et al
After some discussion on the outcome of the hearing in connection with the
condemnation of the park property owned by J. W. Field, et al, located at
Valley View Lane and Tom Field Road which the Commissioners made an
award of $50, 000. 00, a motion by Councilman Grimmer, a second by
Councilman Korioth, all voting "ayes", authorized the City Attorney to
file an appeal on the property mentioned above.
DISCUSSION
The Planning and Zoning Commission's operations were discussed.
