Orman City Manager 1 C RAWHIDE CREEK - SANITARY SEWER EAST OF WEBB CHAPEL ROAD Councilman Oradat moved, seconded by Councilman Regan, all voting "ayes" to authorize Rady and Associates to design sanitary sewer in Rawhide Creek from Webb Chapel Road to Marsh Lane; the sewer main being designed of a size to care for only the area within Farmers Branch city limits. APPOINTMENT OF CITY JUDGE Councilman Rhodes moved, seconded by Councilman Regan, all voting "ayes" to appoint Carl A. Skibell City Judge to replace Howard Law, who had resigned; Mr. Skibell being appointed to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Law. ORDINANCE ON ABANDONING PORTION OF OLD VALLEY VIEW LANE Texas Title and Abstract Company had requested the Council to pass an ordinance acknowledging the abandonment of certain sections of the old Valley View Lane in 1949 in order to clear up any possible future conflict in granting a clear title to property now being pur- chased by Morton Food Company from J. Fred Smith Gravel Company. Accordingly, upon a motion by Councilman Tippitt, seconded by Council- man Regan, all voting "ayes", an ordinance captioned as follows was passed: ORDINANCE NO. 380 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FARMERS BRANCH RATIFYING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF AN OLD COUNTY ROAD UPON THE COMPLETION OF THE RELOCA- TION OF VALLEY VIEW LANE AND PROVIDING THAT SUCH ABANDONMENT SHALL BE ONLY INSOFAR AS APPLICABLE TO THE PUBLIC RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN AND TO THAT PORTION OF SUCH STREET BELONG TO THE CITY OF FARMERS BRANCH.
